My work is an exploration of a variety of themes including self-expression, creation and destruction, and our connection to the natural elements. One of my favorite things to explore in my visual art is the juxtaposition of disparate feelings and moods. I love creating images that make people feel things in opposition, like an uncomfortable attraction or a guilty pleasure. Much of my work is focused on shifting perspectives and exploring dark themes and emotions, while incorporating vibrant colors and striking subjects.
My favorite places to make art are the unconventional ones; the hidden and often ephemeral spaces. I love the challenge of working with the elements and tools at hand to tell the story of a singular moment in time.
